The revised Guide for Global Research Partnerships is now published!

Led by the Swiss Alliance for Global Research Partnerships (GRP Alliance), the revision was carried out through a participatory process involving more than 200 contributors from around the world.

The Guide is a key reference for promoting effective, equitable and impactful research partnerships. The revised edition responds to new fields of reflection that have arisen in the last decade, such as debates surrounding decolonizing research or adequate funding mechanisms, which prompted a need to revisit content and structure.
Structured around six guiding principles, the Guide offers practical advice on how to set research agendas together, manage power dynamics, specify roles and responsibilities, promote mutual learning, share and apply results, and build long-term partnerships. The principles are accompanied by links to examples, tools and relevant literature, as well as in-depth explanations of important concepts.

Designed as an evolving online resource, the Guide invites continued exchange and contributions from the global research community.
